Description: Alfie was adopted in July 2008 when his previous owners could not afford his vet bills. Alfie is a very special, one of a kind dog. He was born with 2 extra chambers in his heart, and came to Ruffdogs HQ as a very sick & dying puppy. Thanks to an internet & media appeal, the £4000 to save Alfie's life was raised and he underwent heart surgery at Liverpool University atthe age of 4 months.
