Ask your groomer to keep the hair between her eyes, and around her nose very short. Every day, wipe this area with fresh cotton balls and distilled water. Make sure to dry it well. And yes, it could be bad teeth, so brush them and get your vet to check them.
ya, it could very much be a bad tooth or bad teeth in general. smaller dogs seems to have it more than others. take your dog to get her teeth cleaned &/or give her greenies & other teeth cleaning chewies regularly. what a lot of people don't know is that they make doggie tooth brushes & tooth paste, you can even get it all at walmart. shi tzu's require a lot of grooming attention, especially with the face & eyes. i'm assuming you keep her hair in a bow or tied up out of her face.
