I have aToddler and Baby Grand Children ,My two year old Grand Son sees Water runs very fast and will fly through the air and hurl himself into any water he sees .I am moving to River/Lake Country,I swim with my German Shepherd dogs . ......

I saw a video of Newfoundlands being trained for Water Rescue Dogs.They can swim out I believe as much as a mile and rescue a full grown Man in Ocean surf..We have a need for Dogs trained for this, as there are little to no Life Gaurds .Who can I contact to learn how to do this training ? I enjoy the dog park, but Saturdays and Sundays are somewhat of a mess. In Silverlake, Los Angeles, there are so many dog owners who can't control their dogs visiting the park on weekends. Do you know of any dog parks in LA that are great on the weekends?
